Found during the #32 human session on the installed voculinux-0.18.5_1 (Void, niri, DMS, RTX 2050). Startup log: single-instance lock at 00:47:03, GTK main loop and tray indicator at 00:47:21. The model load runs before the tray is created, so for ~18 s the app shows nothing and a user can think it failed to start. Expected: the tray icon appears immediately (in a loading state) and the model loads in the background.
