Question

Exact verbatim strings for the header bar, Bongbetic credit, persistence line, paused banner, quit hint, and auth banner — each in both TUI and fenris status renderings (CI-2 parity), captured verbatim for the spec and criteria. Elevation wording stays polkit-accurate, never "sudo". Depends on the approved prototype.

Resolution

All strings locked verbatim. Source strings are lowercase; TUI may render uppercase via styling only.

TUI-only strings

Header bar: Fenris — NVMe endurance monitor
Bongbetic credit: by Bongbetic — dimmed, inline with service facts
Auth banner: privileged actions will prompt for authentication (polkit) — full-width under header at launch, cleared on first refresh tick, never reappears in session
Quit rail: q QUIT TUI — bordered labelled rail, visually separate from monitoring state; footer becomes p pause · r resume · c collect · d disclosures (rail owns quit)

Parity strings (TUI and fenris status identical, CI-2)

Continuity, active + boot enabled: monitoring: active in background · persists across reboots
Continuity, boot disabled: monitoring: does not start on next boot
Paused state line: monitoring: paused — deliberate disable
Paused consequence line: paused time is excluded from your usage habit · resume: fenris monitor resume
status prints state line + consequence line when paused, identical wording to banner title + subline

Rules

Typography: em-dash — separates title from qualifier; middle dot · joins facts within a line. UTF-8 assumed.
CI-2 sweeps compare lowercase source strings; rendering case is styling, not wording.
Banner carries run state; continuity row/status line mirrors boot fact independently (deliberate disable runs systemctl disable --now, so paused implies boot disabled, but the row reports the fact as-is).
Resume hint uses CLI form only (fenris monitor resume); footer owns key hints — no duplication.
Auth banner, header, credit: TUI-only (launch/identity surfaces); fenris status never shows them.
