What to build

A user chooses a filesystem, approves bounded writes, and receives interpretable sequential/random storage results.

Acceptance criteria

Run fio 3.43 only against a private 256 MiB fixture, with approved 1 MiB sequential and 4 KiB random read/write procedures and three repetitions at queue depth one.
Show estimated writes and require consent; count preparation and repeats within the 1 GiB host-write ceiling and enforce the approved free-space floor.
Record bandwidth/IOPS, latency distribution, bytes, engine, cache/flush mode, filesystem/device mapping, and direct versus buffered identity.
Decline, unsafe headroom, timeout, or cleanup failure leaves a reasoned partial or unavailable result; never target a user file or raw device.
