Odin v1: terminal benchmark and health suite specification

What to build

A user gets bounded execution, reasoned safety stops, and an auditable partial run when a limit, qualified alarm, or cancellation occurs.

Acceptance criteria

Enforce declared memory, VRAM, write, worker, deadline, and cleanup bounds; start unprivileged and request only narrowly scoped optional privileged diagnostics.
Active thermal alarms, device loss, integrity errors, or breached limits stop affected and later same-component work; memory corruption or inseparable risk stops the entire run.
Cancellation and stops terminate owned worker processes where possible, retain partial samples and cleanup failures, and never claim guaranteed recovery from kernel or driver hangs.
No automatic retry, tuning, repair, driver install, or generic root command execution occurs.
